

Best Practices for Arbitration Efficiency

American Arbitration Association Vice President Aaron Gothelf and AAA Commercial Division Vice President Lori Sanford will present at this luncheon. They will discuss the best practices for resolving arbitrations quickly and economically, including arbitrator selection, holding a productive preliminary hearing, drafting effective prehearing filings and briefs, presenting witnesses and evidence, how to handle closing arguments and attorney fee applications, the advantages and disadvantages of in-person, remote and hybrid evidentiary hearings, and how COVID-19 has impacted arbitrations.
Meal choices are chicken picatta, tri-tip or vegetarian.
