AI and Gen AI in Law and Public Service: Current State and Future Outlook

This is part of the Curt Hagman Distinguished Lecture Series. The expert panel will be San Bernardino County Fire Chief Dan Munsey, Public Administration AI Expert Annie Bui, and appellate attorney and professor Steve Haskins, of McCune Law Group.

Discussion will include generative AI challenges and ethical considerations associated with its implementation; AI’s evolving regulatory landscape; and the potential outcomes and benefits for public services.

Panelists will share firsthand experience exploring future opportunities for AI to enhance local government.
