2024 Litigation and Appellate Summit

April 25 – April 26

A variety of programs for trial and appellate lawyers will include an interview with Chief Justice Patricia Guerrero; an update panel that will discuss rule, legislative and case-law changes; a presentation on effective and ethical use of artificial intelligence in litigation; a #MeToo litigation lookback; a live broadcast of The Portia Project podcast; and a networking reception.

The keynote speaker will be Martin Estrada, U.S. attorney for the Central District of California.

The Committee on Appellate Courts will present its 2024 Appellate Lawyer Hall of Fame award to Margaret Grignon.

MCLE credit is up to 13 hours and will include elimination of bias, ethics and eight hours of legal specialization in appellate law.

$125 – $445 Tickets cost $125 for new lawyers section members, and government and panel attorneys, $295 for current litigation section members and RCBA members, and $445 for non-members.
