A California Central District Court jury found Fontana resident Jason Dee Taylor, 41, guilty of sex trafficking of a minor and enticement of a minor to engage in criminal sexual activity.
Taylor twice paid a 15-year-old Santa Barbaran, whom he met online, $600 to have sex with him, according to the indictment. He used the names “Sugar Daddy,” capthaze69,” “Seahorse869” and “RumbleFingers” in online communication.
A family friend of the victim discovered the messages on the girl’s phone, and reported Taylor to the police, according to a press release from the Department of Justice.
“I’ll be honest. I like your age, it’s kinda hot,” Taylor wrote after being made aware of the girl’s age, according to the press release.
Taylor will be sentenced Feb. 7, 2022, and faces a minimum sentence of ten years in federal prison and a maximum sentence in life imprisonment.
Attorneys Edward Robinson and Brian Robinson of Torrance’s Robinson Kardon represented Taylor.
