San Bernardino Sheriffs arrested Justin Halstenberg of Norco Sept. 10, on suspicion of starting the Line Fire.

He faces three charges: arson of an inhabited structure, arson of forest land, and possession of flammable material, according to the sheriff’s department.

The fire, started Sept. 5, has burned 34,700 acres, or 54 square miles, according to CALFire. It was started around Baseline Road and Alpin Street in Highland, according to the sheriff’s release.

CALFire investigators worked with sheriff’s deputies at the Highland Station to identify Halstenberg, according to the sheriff’s department’s press release.

He was found ineligible for bail.
