Effective Jan. 3, all domestic violence and petitions to terminate parental custody and control cases for the mid-county region will return to the Hemet Courthouse, the Riverside County Bar Association announced by email Monday.
All matters ( domestic violence and petitions to terminate parental custody and control) previously assigned to the Southwest Justice Center will be reassigned to the Hemet Courthouse and all hearings on or after Jan. 3 will be scheduled in Department H1 at 880 N. State St., Hemet.
The case prefix for domestic violence cases filed on or after Jan. 3 will change from DVSW to DVHE.
