San Bernardino labor and employment lawyer Kevin Erwin has joined Jackson Lewis P.C.’s new Riverside office as a principal.
Erwin said he was excited at the opportunity to work with Jackson Lewis, which opened the office in October 2021.
“They’re the best labor lawyers in the country,” Erwin said by phone Jan. 14.
He has practiced labor and employment law for the past 15 years, and comes from the San Bernardino office of Lewis Brisbois. He rejoins his former Lewis Brisbois colleague Arthur Cunningham.
“Adding Kevin to our roster of attorneys strengthens our ability to meet our clients’ needs in California and nationwide. We are thrilled to have him on board,” said Nicole Shaffer, Jackson Lewis Riverside office managing principal and office litigation manager, in the press release announcing the hire.
Erwin represents employers, management and supervisors in all areas of labor and employment law, including PAGA actions, employment litigation, class suits and wrongful termination.
Erwin is most proud of the cases where he gets summary judgment for his clients, he said.
He graduated from the Pepperdine University School of Law in 1993, and the University of California, Davis, in 1990. He chose to be a lawyer because he likes advocating for his clients, he said.
In his free time, Erwin enjoys spending time with his three sons and his wife, he said.
