The 950-attorney-large firm Jackson Lewis P.C. has opened its 62nd office, in Riverside.

Nicole Shaffer, a 2006 Whittier Law School graduate who focuses on employment litigation, is the office’s managing principal and litigation manager, according to an Oct. 19 press release announcing the office.

Shaffer has worked at Jackson Lewis since 2008, and was a principal in the Orange County office, according to the firm’s website.

Arthur Cunningham, formerly of Lewis Brisbois; Monica Bullock; Kevin Collins; and Stephanie Joy Tañada will also work at the office.

“Our volume of work has been consistently growing, and we are excited to continue building our presence throughout the state,” said Shaffer in the release. “The importance of having an accomplished litigator like Art come join us in Riverside cannot be overstated.”

“Despite the pandemic, California still has a fiercely competitive market and many of its regions continue to produce an ample amount of class actions and employment law matters,” said firm chair Kevin G. Lauri and firm managing principal Samantha N. Hoffman, in the statement.

The office is at 3390 University Ave., Suite 110, Riverside, CA 92501, and can be reached at 949-885-1360.
