Effective March 7, face coverings are no longer required in any San Bernardino Superior Court location, the court announced in a public notice March 3.

The court “strongly” recommends people continue to wear them, though, per the Feb. 28 updates from the California Department of Public Health Guidance for the Use of Face Coverings and Gov. Gavin Newsom’s Executive Order N-5-22.

The court asks people who have tested positive for COVID, have been recently exposed to someone with COVID, feel ill with symptoms consistent with COVID or under quarantine not to enter any court sites.
