- People v. Pacheco (INF1700565): Anne-Marie Lofthouse prosecuted, Christopher DeSalva defended and Riverside Superior Judge Walter Kubelun presided.
- Christian Pacheco was convicted of murder, arson of an inhabited structure, assault with a deadly weapon and cruelty to an animal. Prosecutors said he lit his girlfriend’s trailer on fire, while she was in it.
- People v. Garcia (RIF2300325): Stacie Gravely prosecuted, Public Defender Linda Moore defended and Riverside Superior Judge Charles Koosed presided.
- Norman Martinez Garcia was convicted on four counts of a lewd act with a child under 14 years old, oral copulation with a person under 14 years old and aggravated sexual assault of a child. He was acquitted of sexual penetration with a foreign object. A prosecutor’s brief said the victims were the defendant’s step-children.
