Parker White was sentenced to 22 years in federal prison Feb. 7 after carrying out online sexual relationships with minors. White, a former United States Army private at Fort Irwin, was convicted by jury on five child pornography counts on Aug. 28.
The prosecution’s exhibit list mentioned a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old victim. White was 21 years old when he met one of the victims on Instagram, and sent her sexually explicit photos in his Army uniform over Snapchat. He originally claimed to be 15 years old, according to the girl’s statements to a Florida sheriff’s deputy.
An investigator identified five other minors that White had engaged with. Investigators discovered 27 additional sexually explicit photos of other people who were likely to be minors on White’s phone.
