Kathleen Curtis was appointed to a judgeship in San Bernardino Superior Court, Gov. Gavin Newsom’s office announced May 3.
Curtis joined the district attorney’s office in 2012, according to the governor’s office. She holds a Master of Public Administration from California State University, San Bernardino, and a Juris Doctor degree from American University, Washington College of Law, according to the office. She joined the California State Bar in 2009.
As a prosecutor, Curtis has filed multiple complaints alleging sex crimes against children.
