Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage has been threatened by a lawsuit over its vaccine mandates.

Liberty Counsel, which won a suit against the state over its coronavirus church restrictions, threatened to sue Eisenhower Health on behalf of an unknown number of employees who claimed they did not get religious accommodations for vaccines.

The threat was sent in a 19-page letter.

In the letter, Liberty Counsel claimed the employees, which appear to be two doctors, were denied the chance to wear masks and be regularly tested instead of taking a vaccine, an alternative provided by the California Department of Health’s healthcare vaccine mandate in the case of religious or medical reasons.

The self-described Christian ministry claimed in the letter that medical exemptions were granted, while religious exemptions were not.
