Jacob Magallanes, who pleaded guilty in San Bernardino Superior Court to lewd acts with a child, was sentenced July 28 to three years of supervised formal probation, with his sentence time already served. 

The court ordered a 1,122-day sentence in county jail, but Magallanes had already served 1,952 days, or five years. The judge issued a criminal protective order to prevent Magallanes from contacting someone, on the same day.

Magallanes pleaded guilty June 15 to lewd or lascivious acts with a child. As part of the plea deal, prosecutors dropped the charge of sexual intercourse with a child 10 years or younger.
