Jesse Rodriguez pleaded guilty in Riverside County court to three felony counts of assault with a deadly weapon Aug. 8 after prosecutors claimed he shot BB guns at multiple drivers along Riverside County highways in mid-2021.

Rodriguez, an Anaheim resident, will receive a 10-year sentence in state prison due to the plea deal.

Rodriguez shot through the back window of a Telsa with a BB gun when driving along Hammer Avenue in Norco May 25, 2021, the Riverside District Attorney’s Office claimed. No one was injured from the event.
