The long-standing San Bernardino prosecutor Enrique Guerrero was formally sworn into a judgeship June 9.

Guerrero has served as a deputy district attorney since 1999, and worked as a contract attorney at the San Diego District Attorney’s Office from 1997 to 1998, according to the governor’s office. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the California Western School of Law, and joined the California State Bar in 1997. 

He fills a vacant position.
