Ron Gilbert, who runs Veteran’s Court in addition to several other collaborative courts in San Bernardino County, talked with me this week about veterans in the area. Specifically we talked about the services they need, but generally we talked about the circumstances and perspectives of being a veteran that most people don’t think about.
Commissioner Gilbert guides veterans to treatment. He connects them with resources for therapy, sobriety, clearing legal issues, addressing homelessness or all of the above.
