The Court of Appeal officially published their ruling on a Hesperia elementary school sexual abuse case. Their ruling overturns the case’s dismissal. Hesperia students are suing their school district, claiming school officials negligently allowed them to be sexually abused by school janitor Pedro Martinez.

San Bernardino Superior Court had agreed with the school district’s position that the plaintiffs failed to demonstrate that school staff had no knowledge of Martinez’ actions. The Court of Appeal did not agree.
