    • Harris, a former driver for J. B. Hunt, claims she was wrongfully terminated while she was on medical leave to treat her colon cancer. She says she joined the transport company Oct. 18, 2018, and fired Oct. 25, 2023. She claims her managers preferred younger workers. Her lawsuit brings 14 causes of action, including retaliation in violation of the federal Fair Housing Act, discrimination in violation of California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act and failure to provide meal periods, rest periods and wages.
